Helping Daddy Unwrap The Elusive London Porter - January 26, 2007
Fuller's London Porter is one of our favorite beers. Sadly, we've been unable to find it locally in Ann Arbor for over a year. My parents were able to snag some in a specialty shop in their hometown of Muskegon, MI, and they surprised Stephen with it on Christmas morning. Although he was tempted, Stephen resisted downing a pint alongside Grandma Beth's famous caramel sticky bun breakfast. -

The rest of the story is that Stephen's car, packed to the gills for Christmas, hadn't the room to take the beer home... it was either the beer or Sophia's new doll house... ah, the self-sacrifice! So it's been sitting patiently on my dining room table all this time. Your beer is on it's way today. And since I've resisted opening one, we'll have to break one open tonight so I can see what all the fuss is about.
